MAS welcomes The Adventurers
Barbershop  Quartet
The Milford Area Seniors are excited to announce that The Adventurers will be performing on Tues-day, March 27, 2012, 1 p.m., at the Milford Town Hall Auditorium. Everyone is invited to attend this special event.

The Adventurers barbershop quartet has a long history of entertaining many thousands of people in many different venues. Since February of 1963, they have traveled throughout the United States, Canada, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the Caribbean. They have competed many times at the Barbershop Harmony International level of quartet singing and have had the pleasure of entertaining on the Nautilus Atomic Sub-marine, at Symphony Hall and on a cruise to the Caribbean, as well as many other exciting venues.

After a brief hiatus of fifteen years, they resurfaced in 2009, primarily to bring a little joy to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, retirement communities and senior centers.
In the last two years, they have performed over sixty times. The Adventurers still have a great passion for entertaining, singing songs of many eras. Songs of old, songs of new, songs you may have never heard of, and songs you can join right in and sing-a-long.

They look forward to meeting new folks everywhere. If you like the barbershop style of mu-sic, you are sure to enjoy The Adventurers: Tenor Dick White, Lead Ron Menard, Bari Joe Kopka and Bass Al Gustafson.
